The Self Realization Lake Shine is a beautiful lake and meditation gardens and is located on Sunset Blvd. Close to Pacific Coast Hwy.  Open Tuesday-Saturday 9:00 am though 4:30 PM, Sundays 12:30-4:30.  Closed Mondays and Holidays.

Santa Ynez Canyon is about 2.2 miles from Aldersgate and offers a shady, fairly flat hike.
