Hiking: There are several good hiking trails that are close to Aldersgate Retreat Center. The closest trail head is at Temescal Canyon Gateway Park. This is about a block away from Aldersgate Retreat Center and there are several trails that branch off of there, including one that goes up to a nice little waterfall. Los Liones Canyon also has excellent hiking, and Will Rogers State Historic Park has picnic areas, hiking trails, and polo grounds.
